CarFix.am (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates carfix.am and the related products. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, optional phone, hashed password.
- Photos & analyses: images you upload, derived AI assessments.
- Bookings: contact info, scheduled time, service details.
- Usage data: IP, device, pages viewed, error logs (for security and quality).
How we use it
We use your data to provide damage analysis, match you with verified mechanics, send transactional email (verification, password reset, booking confirmations), prevent abuse, and improve the service.
How we protect it
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt at cost 12. Photos are stored in encrypted AWS S3 buckets. We host on AWS in the EU region.
Your choices
You can update, export, or delete your account and data at any time from the profile page or by emailing privacy@carfix.am. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a session cookie for authentication and (if enabled) Google Analytics with IP anonymisation for usage measurement. You can opt out of analytics from the cookie banner.
